Meet Panda! While he may not be quite as fluffy as a real panda, he’s as lovable as they are. Watching his little face light up with joy when you get home, will brighten the darkest corner of your heart. Panda is a bouncy puppy in all the best ways and absolutely loves to play with other dogs. For being four months old, Panda is well mannered and when outside prefers to stick close to home versus wandering away. This adorable fella will come when called and lives to be petted by anyone who can spare a free hand (or two). How can you resist this perfect, precious puppy?

Save a Stray pets are in foster homes. Please complete an application at www.saveastray.org to make arrangements to meet our pets. Out of state meet and greets are conducted via FaceTime.

This pet has been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and is on heartworm and flea prevention and has adoption fee of $175 (local) - $500 (depending on transport destination).

Approve Application

A Save a Stray volunteer will contact you on receipt of your application.

Additional adoption info

Approved Save a Stray application is required for adoption. A contract between the adopter and Save a Stray concerning the care of the adopted pet and the process should the pet need to be rehomed is also required.

Adoption fees range from $85 - $100.

A home visit may be required.

Save a Stray strives to enrich the lives of pets in Mobile County through spay/neuter programs, providing vet care to shelter pets, and including shelter pets a risk youth groups.

Spay/neutering pets help to decrease the number of pets entering our shelter. By providing vet care to shelter pets healthier pets can be adopted by individuals or pulled by rescue groups. This program will also help decrease vetting expenses of rescue groups. Training programs with shelter pets and at risk youth increase the self esteem of the youth and make the pet more adoptable. A pet that knows a few basic commands is more likely to be adopted, become a family member, and remain in the home.
