My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Leni is a sweet and very friendly little kitty. She is a gentle and curious girl that loves being around people and follows you around the house, for no other reason than that she loves being right next to you - whether you are working, cooking or just relaxing at home, you’ll find Leni right by you. She appreciates attention, and is starting to understand and love the affection of humans, and she even enjoys being held! She hopped right into my lap on day 1.

She is definitely not a shy cat, and one thing that is striking about Leni is how much she purs. Even with the slightest pet you can be sure to find her walking in circles around you and purring at her happiest. She is also small and very nimble, and looks like a young kitten, which just makes her even more adorable. We noticed that she's not a particularly playful kitty, making her all the more a perfect companion for anyone who enjoys a calm, loving presence.

More about this rescue

Puppy Kitty NYC was founded in the Fall of 2014. As of July 2018, we are an official 501(c)(3) organization. We focus on three aspects: First, finding homes for abandoned or friendly street cats and kittens. Secondly, attempting to control animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering feral cats and helping the sick and injured. Thirdly, fostering is a must.
