Meet PJ and Skeeter!

PJ, a four-year-old orange tabby, and Skeeter, a three-year-old gray Siamese, are a loving, bonded pair looking for a new home together. Their guardians are moving to an assisted living facility, so PJ and Skeeter need a family to welcome them with open arms.

PJ is a classic tabby with a sweet, gentle demeanor. He loves to relax and watch the world go by, often curling up with Skeeter by his side. Skeeter, the more playful of the two, adores batting around small stuffed mice, chasing string, and pouncing on tiny balls. She’s an affectionate, curious cat who often nudges PJ to join in her fun.

These two are inseparable, providing comfort and companionship to each other and, soon, to their new family. They’re looking for a peaceful home where they can stay together and continue to share their love and gentle nature.

You may visit our cats at the Dancing Cat Cat lounge by appointment, or via Zoom for cats in foster homes.

Additional adoption info

Once the adoption has been finalized, we will deliver the cat to the adopter's home.

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
