My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Adoption Application.   ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.

Lisette has a rags to riches story. She was struggling on the streets trying to raise 4 preemie kittens. Thankfully she and her kittens were taken into foster, and with plenty of food and veterinary care, Lisette and her kittens thrived. Lisette soon learned to love the safety and comfiness of living inside. As her foster mom says: she was made for the sheets, not the streets!

Lisette has transformed into a healthy and sleek house panther. While she can be a little shy initially, once she is comfortable, her sweet, playful, and active side emerges. Often times in the evening you will find her zooming from room to room or playing under a couch cover. She loves interactive play especially with a wand toy and is a bunny kick master. Attention and pets are a must for this little lady.

With proper introductions, Lisette should do well with other cats. She can be wary of dogs at first, but if dogs give her personal space, then she has no issue. Lisette would likely do best in a home with no children or older children, as young children may be a bit much for her. Lisette is sure to bring you joy to your home, and if you’re looking to add a furry family member, please don’t hesitate to meet her!
