Le Mango was always sweet but started out shy. She now greets you when you walk in the door, seeking attention. Though she is “all bark and no bite”, she still occasionally hisses when she gets excited about food or surprised, but she is never aggressive, she loves to be pet and is easy to handle. A Churu treat will always win her over. She uses the litter box perfectly and likes the scratching post. She loves her siblings and is very playful with other cats. She would do best with a playmate to continue socialization and building confidence.
Update from the foster 11/20/24: Le Mango is a sweet, smart kitten. She likes to be pet, sit on a lap, cuddle her sister, and lay in the sunshine. She uses the litter box perfectly, likes playing with toys, and will always accept a Churu. She has a medium energy level and occasionally gets overstimulated during play, but is not aggressive and takes direction well. She loves her sister Gracee and copies everything she does, including trying new things. She has gained confidence, good behavior and trust for humans by watching her siblings. She is shy with strangers but confident, friendly and affectionate with her caretakers. She would do best paired in a home with Gracee or another young friend.

Soul Dog is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. We are currently a small group of committed volunteers making a difference in the life of one animal at a time. As an all volunteer administration, all donations made to Soul Dog go directly to improving the health of the pets that share our lives.
Soul Dog is proactive in animal welfare advancing the need for spaying and neutering our pets to reduce overpopulation. We travel to rural communities on Native American reservations, where spaying and neutering will only happen if it is nearly free or very convenient.
