Hello. MY NAME IS EVA!!!!! I am a 6 year old, female, Labrador Retriever/Cattle Dog mix. I’m about 50 pounds of love - but actually I need to loose a few pounds so some walkies would be great for me. I am so stinkin’ cute and have the most adorable curly tail. My foster mom says I could quite possibly be the easiest dog she has ever met. I’m potty trained, dog friendly (maybe not great with a puppy that is in my face), walk so well on leash, and love to snuggle and get belly rubs. I’m so good that I can be left home alone in the house without being crated and I don’t get into things.
I came to Soul Dog with a crooked jaw. These amazing people that saved my life took me in and didn’t care about my jaw. They don’t know what happened to me….maybe I was kicked by a horse or maybe a person, but my jaw healed a little out of line and now I’m told it just makes me even more adorable. 😊 I’m not the type of dog that wants to hike a 14’er but I do like my walkies and I like to relax on the couch with my people. Oh, I LOVE people!!!!!!! My foster mommy says I’m “super chill” and I’m an amazing companion dog. I personally think I would be an incredible emotional support dog. My foster mommy says I have one of those things called a “special soul”. I also think I would make a good family dog or for someone looking for a mellow, “a little bit older dog”. I still have so many years ahead of me to give you love. Oh, I forgot to tell you, I had been living at the shelter for 4 long months until my foster mommy took me into her home last week. I really like this home place much better! And as an extra bonus, I have the softest fur you have ever felt….at least that is what people tell me. I’m looking for my forever home so I can settle in and show you how much love I have to give…and I have a LOT of love to give. If you are interested in adopting me, fill out an application at www.souldog.org

More about this rescue
Soul Dog is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. We are currently a small group of committed volunteers making a difference in the life of one animal at a time. As an all volunteer administration, all donations made to Soul Dog go directly to improving the health of the pets that share our lives.
Soul Dog is proactive in animal welfare advancing the need for spaying and neutering our pets to reduce overpopulation. We travel to rural communities on Native American reservations, where spaying and neutering will only happen if it is nearly free or very convenient. Soul Dog works with volunteer veterinarians to provide the spaying and neutering service at no cost to the public. Donations are used to defray the costs associated with medications, supplies, and the operating cost for clinics.
