Meet Lainey, a sweet lab/husky mix born around August 30th, and one of the many precious lives Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue has the joy of helping! Based in Middle Tennessee, Critter Cavalry is a 501(c)(3) animal rescue dedicated to saving high-risk animals across the region. Each week, we travel to the northeastern states, bringing these amazing pets closer to loving forever homes. Lainey was part of an accidental litter and was lucky enough to be born into a caring home. Once she was old enough, she and her sisters moved to a loving foster home where they’re thriving and enjoying life, waiting for their forever families to find them.

At first glance, Lainey might look like an ordinary black dog, but she’s anything but ordinary! Her coat is a beautiful dark gray that shimmers with hints of brown when in sunlight, and each hair has a unique color, making her appearance shift in different lights. Her eyes are just as mesmerizing—often dark indoors, but outside they become a stunning gray-blue. With her gentle personality and a friendly nature toward people and other dogs, Lainey would be a wonderful addition to any family.
