Snuggle up with Doppio, an energetic 1 year old sweetie looking for his forever home!
Have you dreamed of having a playful and cuddly little lap cat that’ll always be happy to see you? Meet Doppio, an adorable one-year-old goofball. He showed up on his foster parents’ stoop one day, as affectionate as possible and very vocal about how ready he was to just dart inside.
Once he was taken in, he was happy to show off his great claw control skills jumping on laps and nuzzling up on his foster parents’ chests. He’s a fantastic playmate and loves exploring, especially climbing up scratch poles. But once he’s used up all his playful energy, he’ll show you his chatty nature when he wants nothing more than to fall asleep curled up on your lap.
He’s shown curiosity about the other cats in his foster parents’ home, but hasn’t had the chance to show how well he’d integrate with them once they get over being jealous of how cute he is. However, before he was taken in, he seemed to get along well enough with the other neighborhood cats. He hasn’t been exposed to dogs or children quite yet, but he has proven to be incredibly kind and good at controlling his paws when playing, so his foster parents don’t think he’d have any trouble acclimating with kids, at least.
Doppio would absolutely love a forever home where he could self-initiate and play to his heart’s content, but most importantly he really needs a lap that he could curl up on and purr the night away. Fill out an application, and he’ll be gleefully rolled over in your arms in no time!
