My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you ready to draft a new MVP (Most Valuable Pup) into your life? Meet Sports! This pint-sized, loyal lapdog is ready to steal your heart and fill your home with tail wags and love. While he's no athlete on the track, he's a total pro when it comes to cuddles, walks, and working his way into your heart (no overtime required!).

Sports’ ideal day is all about quality time with his human(s)—he loves curling up on the couch for a snuggle session, followed by a few walks, and then setting a new world record for finishing his dinner from a slow feeder. He would thrive in a quieter home without young children since he can have some handling sensitivities especially around his face, but he really is an affection enthusiast.

Sports also gets along well with other dogs, having already shown himself to be a great teammate in foster care with his foster sister, and we aren't sure how he feels about cats but are open to an adoptive home able to facilitate slow introductions with them. He is mostly housebroken but may need a little extra help with overnights or for longer durations, so a flexible schedule would be ideal so that he can feel his most comfortable self.

If you're looking for a loyal companion who’ll be your cuddle buddy through thick and thin, Sports is the perfect match. His dedication to love and snuggles will make him an irreplaceable part of your family, and once you have him, you won’t remember what life was like before he trotted in. Sports is ready to be your MVP, so please apply or email us to learn more about recruiting him for your heart and home!
