Why I need a new home

Behavioral issues

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gryffindor was rescued from a homeless drug addict at 3 months old, the drug addict stole Gryffindor from his parents who had puppies when Gryffindor was 2 weeks and therefore was taken prematurely from his mother and siblings. This is thought to be the reason for his behavioral issues. He is now 8 years old. He has gone through extensive training with professionals and different anxiety medications have been tried. However, this overprotective nature is innately who he is. Gryffindor’s favorite activity is going on walks and eating popcorn. He is a very loving dog who gets excited and anxious in new situations. He requires special needs where he can’t have new people coming into the home, he should not live with other animals, and can’t be around any children due to his over protective nature. He does play well at dog daycares and boarding where behavioral tests are done on other dogs to ensure they won’t attack him. He is looking for the right environment for his forever home.
