My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birthday: July 14, 2024

This little spunky black beauty is Oogie. She was found by her foster mom while she was visiting her relative in Beaver Valley, Pennsylvania. Around 10:00 PM, her future foster mom and son were returning back to the house when they heard an odd chirping noise. The boy said, "It's a kitty, mom!"

A little black puffball wobbled over to them from under a porch of a vacated home. The kitten let the boy pick her up and hold her. As he was holding the kitten, the mother checked for fleas, and she was delighted to see that there weren't any.  However, both of the kitten's eyes were infected.  She had so much eye boogies that it was only suiting to name the little girl Oogie Boogie!

Oogie is a bundle of laughs and full of spunk. She loves to play with toys, her foster brothers, and even our dog. Oogie will make a fuss about being held until you actually hold her. Then she just melts in your arms. She loves sleeping with her foster mom and dad in their bed, surrounded by her three foster brothers. But be warned! She is known to attack a foot or two! Oogie also has little white hairs coming out of her ears, under her arms that meet in her chest, and at her back legs towards her belly, giving her a little bikini! Oogie does well with kids if they play with her, but she isn't a fan of being picked up by little ones. She would do well in a multi-cat home, so she has friends to play and cuddle with.  Even dogs would be acceptable! Please consider bringing little Oogie into your home!

Oogie's adoption donation is $135 and includes age-appropriate vaccines, dewormer, flea treatment, Felv/FIV testing, microchip, and spay.
