My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This blonde brindle bully beauty is named Blossom. Blossom is a people-lover to her core, a perfect work from home companion, sweet snd gentle with kids, and friendly with dogs of all sizes. She would make a great family dog, WFH coworker, or a perfect best friend to your dog.

We think Blossom is a Pittie mix of some sort. She tips the scales just shy of 80 pounds, and she knows that she can still fit in your lap. She’s estimated to be around two and a half years old, but she is a rescue so her exact age and breed are unknown to us and cannot be guaranteed.

Get to know Blossom here: https://youtu.be/-1tfMAufPCw?si=NfM_pca4VZYBXYaI

Blossom is a sweet snuggly girl. She loves to kiss, hug and snuggle. Couch snuggles are her favorite, and she’s gentle with her snuggles. No hard tail thwacks or sudden rough jumps into your space, Blossom just wants a relaxing snuggle, preferably one that lasts most of the day and well into the night.

Blossom has lived peacefully in a home with children before, and sustained the work from home companion lifestyle the whole time. She loves to lounge at your feet and watch you work, she loves toys and can entertain herself with a chew toy! Here at the rescue, we’ve had her out and about while we work and she’s been content to sit on our laps or at our feet. She’s spent time with children as young as three here at the rescue, watch her with kids in her video!

Blossom is great with other dogs, she does well with dogs of all sizes and energy levels. She is small dog friendly! She’s not overly playful with other dogs, but will play if engaged with. We think Blossom would do best in a home with a low to medium energy doggy sibling.

Blossom is a well-behaved girl, great in her kennel and super food motivated! She knows “sit” and “lay down” already. Blossom is incredibly friendly with everyone she meets, but she’s been known to jump for affection. She’ll need a strong handler to correct her jumping, but thankfully she responds well to verbal or water bottle correction! She’s always doing her best to be a good dog, her love for people can just get ahead of her at times.

Blossom’s perfect home will have at least one loving human to keep her company, a couch to snuggle on and a yard to sniff around. At this time, we recommend a kitty-free home for Blossom, but she has been calm around our house cat Tom lately, so that may change with time! She would do well with doggy siblings, but could thrive as a solo dog. She could make a wonderful family dog! Blossom has so much love to give, and lucky for you, she’s looking for forever love! Apply to adopt Blossom today, you won’t regret taking a chance on this sweet girl. With any questions, please reach out to her adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. We are willing to test Blossom with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:
● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family
● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test
● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion
● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future
sessions
● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs

● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates,

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
