My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a gorgeous loyal sidekick, who loves an adventure as much as a snuggle session? If you said yes, then let me introduce you to Princess! The name is slightly deceiving because yes she is pretty, dainty and delicate she is not, but she will let you "rescue” her though.
Take a look at her in action then come back to read more about this amazing girl https://youtu.be/q0Tg0Ai_tuE

Princess is estimated to be 1.5 years old and appears to be a Catahoula/Doberman mix. Of course in rescue we cannot guarantee either of those details but we do guarantee she is 100% best-friend material- affectionate, connects and bonds closely, and loves being with you best.

If a playtime buddy for you or your current dog, Princess is ready for the role! This girl loves playtime, and her favorite games include running, chasing, and playing keep-away with toys and sticks. She’s great with dogs of all sizes, adapting her play style to match her friends. She can be a bit shy meeting new dogs, she just likes to take it slow, but once she warms up which only takes a few minutes, her playful side truly shines. The playmates she gravitates to and enjoys most have been easy-going, mid-level energy friends who know when to take breaks during games of chase and enjoy exploring the yard with her. She currently lives in a foster home with an established pack of dogs that range from small dogs to large and span the age range from young pups to the secure seniors and she integrated beautifully and is enjoyed by them all. On top of that, she has wonderful manners: she’s crate-trained, a dream on a leash, and always comes when called, making her an easygoing companion on walks and in the car.

Princess would love a home with a yard to explore and a friend to play with it. She does know how to “speak up” when she is ready to go outside so apartment life might not be her thing. If your home includes a feline friend, Princess knows how to be a lady around cats. She’s curious but respectful, sniffing and moving on when the cat has had enough of her attention. Plus, she has a gentle approach, whether its her soft touch when seeking affection or in patience with a pushy dog, she is tolerant and maintains a gentleness that would suit most any home and family.

So if you’re looking for a lovable, loyal, and playful girl who’s ready to be your new best friend, Princess is ready for her happily ever after. Fill out an application to meet her today, and get ready for endless snuggles, playtime, and a lifetime of love!
