Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Who wants a Peanut! Well here you go! A fluffy, squishy Peanut- a big lovable goofball who is ready to being all his happy goodness right to you! These are the beefcakes dreams are made of, the perfect mix of friendly, affectionate, playful, and adventurous, and a drop dead melty looking cutie. Plus, he is a water lover! Take a look at him in his profile video and then come back to read more!

Peanut is estimated to be 1.5 years old and weighs 63lbs, breed and age are details we cannot provide with a 100% guarantee but we suspect Peanut is a American Pitbull/Sharpei mix. Whatever made that golden caramel color and wiggly jiggly skin is one amazing combo. It seems rare to find a big boy like him who loves the water so we were surprised and so excited to see how much he enjoyed the pool! It wasn’t even a hot day but he was living for the splashing. It is fun to imagine how exciting it would be to take him to the beach or a lake! That is going to make for amazing moment and beautiful memories.
Given Peanuts age and size, he’s still working on his leash manners and is capable of pulling but is learning quickly not to. This boy is so attentive and treat motivated, training will likely be no trouble at all. A little practice and he is going to be one of the best behaved big boys on the block. A home with a yard would be ideal for him to have some room to roam and play, and bonus points if it comes with a pool!
We introduced Peanut to a handful of dogs and he is definitely dog friendly! His play-mode is bouncy and he loves a game of chase. When he is really into it he can get a bit vocal but it’s just noise and all in good fun. Peanut connected best with the playful female dogs we introduced him to, but he doesn’t need a k-9 sibling, he could easily be the only guy (dog) for you. Pretty sure being your one and only would be a dream come true for this lover boy. While Peanut loves a good game of chase, he’s probably best in a cat-free home because we have yet to find a cat that loves to play chase with the big dogs.Given his size and puppyish concept of where his legs are he would do best with older kids.
If you’re looking for an eye-catching cutie with an adventurous side, this water-loving companion is waiting for you!. Fill out an application for this big-hearted guy—you’ll have a loyal friend who’s always ready to dive into fun or a snuggle session with you!

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:
Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
