My name is Penny!

Penny is Min Pin mix, 4.5 years old and 30lbs. This girl is going to need an extra special home. Penny was adopted from us as a puppy and was returned. It appears she was not socialized well, so is very nervous and skittish of new people. Penny has been through training and knows several basic commands like sit, stay, down, leave it and release. Penny's training should continue with someone that will be able to provide consistency to her. Penny is good with cats but has shown she prefers to be the only dog living in her home and loves to play with her person. She would do best in a quiet adult only home with not a lot of visitors. Penny will need a privacy fence or to be leash walked as we were told she can climb a fence. She has come a very long way since being back with her foster mom. She unfortunately was failed as a puppy but we are working hard to make that up to her. We know this girl needs a very specific home but we are true believers that there is family out there for every dog, some just take longer than others to find theirs.
