My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m Max, a delightful 4-year-old male Jindo Shiba Inu mix eagerly searching for my forever home.

Background: I found myself in a City shelter around November 2020, wandering the streets. Thankfully, I was rescued just before being put down.

Personality:
I’m a people-loving pup with a heart as warm as a summer day. Meeting new faces is one of my favorite things, and I easily make friends with both humans and fellow furry pals. I’m ok with sharing my food with other dogs. I’m polite and greet unfamiliar dogs with a friendly wag and a sniff.

Walks:
While I might pull on the leash a bit (I’m just excited), I’m generally well-behaved during walks. I haven’t had much experience with strolls, so I might need some guidance initially. I have high energy though, after a good walk, I’m more than happy to curl up for a relaxing nap.

Interactions:
I’m not a barker and outdoor potty breaks are my preference, so a backyard or regular walks would suit me well.

Training:
Having spent most of my early years in a shelter, I’m ready for some home training adventures! Patient guidance and positive reinforcement will surely bring out the best in me.

If you’re ready to add a splash of sweetness to your life, I’m the Mango for you! Reach out to the shelter and let them know you’re interested in making me a part of your family.
