My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Astro is an almost 18-month-old, 55-pound Shepherd mix of something, who is 100% good boy.  Astro is fully vaccinated and neutered and ready to find his forever home!

Astro is great with other dogs, and even has been to daycare many times and loves playing; he has been around children and is very polite, and when not playing Astro loves to just be on your lap.   To add to how great Astro is, he is crate and house trained and sleeps through the night with no issues. As if all of that was not enough, Astro is very motivated and likes to learn and his foster is teaching commands to him such as sit and down and working on heel to perfect his leash training.

Astro would be a great addition to any family, are you able to help his wish come true and be his new family?

If you are interested in adopting Astro please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.

***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
