Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Josie is a fun and playful lady who loves squeaky toys. Her favorite right now is a oinking pig toy! Josie did great during her dog-to-dog meet and greet, and mostly ignored the other dog. Josie is a smart lady who has a lot of puppy energy despite her age. She is looking for an active home where she can thrive!
I am spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Come meet me! My adoption fee is sponsored by Big Lick Veterinary Clinic.
If you are interested in adopting me, please complete our online Adoption Application at https://rvspca.org/adopt/application/
The Roanoke Valley SPCA offers adoptions by appointments Monday - Saturday between Noon and 7pm. Appointments can be made by calling 540-339-9247. Walk-in's will be offered the next available appointment. Pets are adopted on a first come basis. The Roanoke Valley SPCA has embraced Fear Free Shelters philosophy and are committed to giving each pet in our care a fear free experience while looking for their forever homes. The Fear Free® philosophy is designed to reduce the negative emotional states that are commonly experienced by shelter animals, including fear, anxiety, stress, and frustration. We offer virtual walk thru of available pets on our website and at our shelter. The end result is a happier, healthier new member of your family.
Call 540-339-9247 Monday - Saturday between Noon and 7 pm to speak with an adoption counselor for more information.
