My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bolt! This energetic three-year-old Terrier mix lives up to his name with his boundless enthusiasm for life and love! Weighing about 11 lbs. he is a true social butterfly. Bolt's favorite activity is making new friends – his whole body wiggles with joy when he meets someone new, and he's always ready to shower them with affection.

This playful pup would make an amazing companion for an active family who enjoys outdoor adventures. Whether it's a brisk morning walk or an afternoon playing fetch in the backyard, Bolt brings his signature enthusiasm to every activity. His gentle nature and loving personality make him a wonderful friend for children, and he absolutely thrives on family time.

Bolt is currently working with his foster family on perfecting his leash manners, and he's looking for a patient adopter who will continue helping him build confidence during his walks. He's an intelligent boy who learns quickly and loves to please his people!

Are you looking for a devoted, affectionate companion who will fill your days with joy and laughter? Bolt could be your perfect match, so submit your application today!

More about this rescue

I.C.A.R.E. is an all breed, no kill dog rescue. We rescue dogs at risk of being euthanized from shelters, abandoned, abused, and stray dogs. We also rescue many owner surrendered dogs; which are dogs that can no longer remain in their current homes due to financial or personal issues. I.C.A.R.E. Dog Rescue is dedicated to reducing the number of dogs that are euthanized in our shelters each and everyday. We focus on rescuing and rehabilitating them in loving foster homes until they are adopted into their permanent homes. We also focus on educating the public regarding specific breeds, rescue, and general information regarding the canine species. We are a 100% volunteer run and supported organization that cannot survive without the help of loving fosters, volunteers, and benefactors.
