My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lord Byron observed: "The dog, in life, is the firmest friend." This makes us think of Clarice, who is ready to be your new best friend.

Why we love her: Clarice is so very sweet and is a joyful presence!

Clarice is such a delightful young dog! She is one year old and weighs 79 pounds. We truly savor her company! Clarice has such a gentle, congenial, good natured personality. She is a real favorite among our staff and volunteers.

Clarice enjoys being close by your side on daily walks and is a well mannered companion. Outings in the fenced yard are one of her favorite ways to spend the day - she loves to play.

Her soft and fluffy coat is perfect for petting, which she greatly enjoys. She is so affectionate and a wonderful snuggle buddy!

Clarice is a bright dog who wants to please and should master any commands you wish to teach her.

Take Clarice home and the love and devotion are guaranteed!

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
