Bullet is 2 and a half years old. Purebred. We got him from a breeder (have AKC paperwork) when I had found out I was pregnant with our second. Now, just having our third, it has become too much to give him the attention he needs, and deserves. We did not have any experience w/ the breed prior to getting him. What I've learned about breed is stubbornness. We sent him off for a 2 week training course when he was 1, but no matter what- if there is food on the counter and you are not around- he will get it (in our experience). He is very set in his ways. Unfortunately, with my husband traveling so much for work, and me with our three young kids, I think its best for both Bullet and our family if he we can find him a family who can devote a lot of attention to him. I think the ideal family would have a lot of land for him to run and their time to give. He is all bark, which has been great when my husband is out of town, but he is afraid of most things, especially loud sounds.
