Meet Heidi— this adorable girl is a true fan of comfort and cuddles. She may be small, but she’s got a huge affection for staying close to her people, and she’ll happily curl up in your lap for all the snuggles you can give.

But don’t let her love for relaxation fool you—this little cutie has a playful side too! When she’s not soaking up the warmth of her favorite blanket or strutting around in her newest outfit, Heidi enjoys a bit of fun playtime. She’s curious, quick on her feet, and always ready to chase after a toy or explore her surroundings.

Heidi is sure to bring a smile to your face. If you’re looking for a snuggly little companion who’s also got a playful spirit, Heidi is the girl for you. She’s ready to join a family where she can be loved, pampered, and showered with affection!

If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

Paws Crossed is a private organization which relies solely on donations, grants and fundraising events for our income; we do not receive any Federal, State or Local assistance.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
