Tyler is a small dog with a heart full of energy and curiosity. He’s got a nose that works overtime, constantly on the hunt for the next interesting scent. He might be small in size, but he makes up for it with big personality—he’s bold, curious, and always on the move. Tyler’s the kind of dog that will keep you on your toes with his playful antics and sharp sense of adventure. He loves being the center of attention and will happily show off his zoomies or his adorable begging eyes when food is around. His heart is as big as his enthusiasm, and when he’s not exploring, he’s looking for the next lap to cuddle in. He loves belly rubs, burrowing under blankets, and finding hidden treats!

Walk-ins are welcome! Stop by during our open hours to meet our available dogs!!

If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

Paws Crossed is a private organization which relies solely on donations, grants and fundraising events for our income; we do not receive any Federal, State or Local assistance.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
