Anna is the energetic, spunky sister who’s always on the go! She’s got a playful attitude, a love for adventure, and a heart full of affection. If there’s a game to be played, she’s in the middle of it—whether it’s tug-of-war with her brother or a high-speed chase around the yard. Anna might be small right now, but she’s full of personality and loves to keep everyone on their toes. She’s always ready to snuggle up when she’s tired, but don’t let her sleepy face fool you—she’s just recharging for her next burst of energy! She greatly enjoys belly rubs, playing chase, tug-of-war, stealing Daggen’s toys (just for fun!), and cuddling with her humans.

Together, Anna and Daggen are the perfect puppy duo—Anna brings the energy and sass, while Daggen brings the calm and cool vibes. Their playful sibling dynamic is sure to keep everyone entertained and full of love and happiness.

Walk-ins are welcome! Stop by during our open hours to meet our available dogs!!

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.

Paws Crossed is a private organization which relies solely on donations, grants and fundraising events for our income; we do not receive any Federal, State or Local assistance.

We are dedicated to being a true no-kill rescue. This means we will only euthanize for terminal illness or irreversible suffering. We are committed to saving as many lives as we can, while also providing the best possible environment for the pets in our care.
