Meet Bodie, a handsome 60-pound, long-haired black and white Labrador mix with a heart full of love. At 3 years old, Bodie is a sweet and loyal companion who’s looking for a forever home where he can shower his new family with affection. He’s house-trained, knows the comfort of his crate and responds eagerly when called. Bodie is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines.
Bodie's friendly demeanor and obedient nature make him an ideal pet, though he does best in a child-free environment where he can be the center of attention. He comes from a home with two young children. Bodie would do anything for those two kiddos, but he has been known to nip at other children he's unfamiliar with. He is great with other dogs and has a special love for cats, making him a perfect addition to a multi-pet household. Despite his brave appearance, Bodie is a bit of a wimp—scared of boxes, plastic bags and unfamiliar objects—but his loyalty is unmatched! A true adventurer at heart, Bodie loves outdoor activities. He’s always ready for a hike through the woods or a swim in the lake, making him the perfect companion for anyone who enjoys exploring the great outdoors.
If you're ready to give Bodie the loving, adult-only home he deserves where he can thrive as your faithful companion on all your adventures, please contact us at carriefortenberry@gmail.com or 757-812-4228 to discuss adding this sweet boy to your family!
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
