My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Adoption Opportunity:
Meadow AKA Missy. This 3-year-old spayed Bichon Frise mix female is seeking a forever home. Key characteristics include: Spayed micro-chipped, dental cleaning and extractions completed, up-to-date on Rabies and DA2PP vaccines.

Mostly house-trained with occasional accidents.

Leash-trained with slight pulling. Addressing separation anxiety through training with For The Love Of Paws Pet Services (www.flopps.ca); four additional classes recommended.

Crate-trained in wire crate, preferring visibility of her humans.

Compatible with small breed dogs.

Meadow requires stability, routine and consistency to be successful in overcoming her separation anxiety and adjusting to her forever home and family.

Meadow is looking for family or couple that perfers to spend cozy nights at home, relaxing or going for short walks when the weather is nice. Her loving personality makes her and excellent companion.

Important note: due to separation anxiety barking, condominiums, townhouses, and apartments are not suitable environments.

Please contact if you feel Meadow would be a good fit at Heartprintsdogadoptions@gmail.com

Please tell us about yourselves, home, family, yard. This is an important part of our screening process.

More about this rescue

We are a 100% not-for-profit society and are volunteer-run and are located in the Edmonton capital region. We are a foster home placement-based rescue. There is NO SHELTER with our rescue. Our rescue works closely with several local rescue groups in Alberta. We have worked with rescue shelters in the United States, and we will transport small breed dogs that are about to be euthanized, then place the dogs in foster homes until a forever family is found. We will provide care for toy-sized and small-breed dogs whose owners are no longer able to care for them. They are placed in stable foster homes until a forever home is found.
