Jewel is located in TN and can only be adopted in person. She is much too skittish to travel on transport. 2 year old female Moyen Phantom poodle. Jewel was rescued from unethical breeders (backyard breeder) FOCCAS rescue managed to rescue 4 dogs from this terrible situation before law enforcement stepped in and seized the rest of the dogs (19) and sent them to various rescues. Animal cruelty charges were placed and a court date is upcoming.
Jewel was the most skittish of the four. She has been in a great foster home for 6 months, along with other dogs about her size. It has taken time, but Jewel has finally come out of her shell! Her foster strongly suggest she be adopted into a home with another dog (or more, possibly) A quiet home would be best as well. She needs a forever family that has the patience to give her the tine she needs to become comfortable and feel safe. She has done so well in her foster home and enjoys meeting new people and dogs at the dog park. She is good on a leash and crate trained. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering.
