Calista is being fostered at one of Toronto Cat Rescue’s pet store partner locations. Please note that if you’re approved to adopt, you’ll need to pick them up from the store within 24 hours of being approved.

Calista is an adorable, sweet and gentle kitten. She is affectionate and loves to be held in your arms - before she gets a bit squirmy because she has more important things to do - like play or get the zoomies. She is good-natured and well behaved (as far as kittens go!) and comes when called (usually) and loves to hang out with you on the couch.

Calista and her siblings, Beardie, Bryce and Emilio, were born in a TCR foster home after her mom, Vickie Bee, had been rescued while pregnant. Vickie was a really good mother and looked after her kittens very well.

Calista was the smallest of the siblings but definitely did not see herself that way! She learned how to hold her own with three brothers! But sometimes their over exuberance when wrestling resulted in her squeals (hence her nickname Squeeky). She likes to play on her own and her favorite toy is a small puff ball. Like all kittens Calista is super curious about everything around her. She loves to explore but is also very happy to curl up for a long kitten nap.

Calista should be adopted either with another kitten or to a home where there is another friendly cat since kittens can get lonely on their own. Calista is looking for her forever family.
