Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Remember this large, litter of 12? They came to us just a day or two after being born in Patrick County Public Animal Shelter. They are now 13 weeks old and are ready to emBARK upon their journeys of finding forever homes! Momma is available now too! They came into the shelter with an adult male aussie but we do not know if he was the dad and don't know what breeds they could be a mix of.
These playful and energetic little ones are full of life and love. They love to explore, chase toys, and cuddle up when they're tired. These active pups are always ready for an adventure and would be perfect for a family looking for a fun and loving companion.
During this national overpopulation crisis, we want to remind everyone that pets are a LIFELONG commitment. These guys are looking for stable adopters who are ready to love and provide for them for many years to come. They will reward you with a lifetime of fun and sloppy kisses.
Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. We take applications online and schedule adoptions in Waynesboro, VA. A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
