Meet Brooks! Breed: standard poodle. Age: est 1 year, 6 months, birthdate 4/17/23. Weight: 43.2lbs, he could stand to gain a few pounds. Training: crate and leash trained. He is doing well with house training, but will need continued guidance as he has never lived in a home before now. Good with other dogs/cats? Yes to both. In fact, we believe he would do best with another canine companion in his new home. Good with adults/kids? Yes. Personality: Brooks is a little shy at first, but he warms up to be affectionate and friendly. He is playful with other dogs, and he is learning how to be a companion. Reason for rescue: breeder release - retiring. Brooks would do best with a fenced yard and another dog in his home to show him the ropes. He has a lot of potential. He needs time, love, guidance, and patience to become the wonderful companion we know he is. Brooks is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on vaccinations and preventatives.
