My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucas, a dashing, big-hearted former tomcat who knows how to make himself right at home! We rescued him after he settled on a kind stranger’s porch, and now, at around two years old, he’s looking for a forever family of his own.

Social and affectionate, Lucas is happiest surrounded by people. He’s incredibly smart, enjoys being part of family activities, and relishes some good lap time. A self-proclaimed foodie, he’s always ready for mealtime and even loves a good road trip—his foster family’s summer home proved him to be a fantastic traveler! Lucas is active, enjoying wand toys for exercise and puzzles to keep his sharp mind engaged.

He’s living in a boarding facility right now, but it’s not ideal since Lucas isn’t a fan of other cats and would much prefer to be the only feline in his kingdom. Lucas could be your perfect match if you’re looking for a devoted cat packed with personality and charm!

Go meet their pets

We don't have a shelter, but some Friends of Felines' cats and kittens are having sleepovers at Just Cat's in Stamford or in foster homes. Friends of Felines is also proud to announce a new level of partnership with Just Cats Veterinary Hospital, which has been providing veterinary care in our area since 1991. Their brand new facility at 1029 East Main Street in Stamford has an adoption area inside the Just Cats Store on the first level. Come in and visit some of the Friends of Felines cats and kittens that are waiting for adoption. The Just Cats store and adoption area are open from 8 am Monday through Saturday. Following your visit, should any cat or kitten pique your interest, you can fill out an application (available on-line at www.fofct.org).
