My name is Cedar!

Cedar is a gorgeous malamute mix (with maybe some husky and some german shep) Sooo personable and friendly – he leans in for affection and loves to be petted.  He is a big boy and very strong, especially on leash, with lots of energy and would do best with an active family or person.  He also would appreciate a companion to play and hang out with as he loves cuddling and attention. He will need an escape proof yard and should not be left outside unattended as he is a Houdini and can climb an 8 foot cyclone fence with dexterity. 

Cedar was abandoned and wandering in rural Stockton for a few months.  We think he must have been in someone’s home as he knows some basic manners like getting in and out of and riding in cars and behaving properly when indoors. We are guessing he's about 3-4 years old and weighs in at about 75 pounds, and completely vetted.This dog is a real gem inside and out and his amber eyes match his gorgeous coat. If you live an active lifestyle, you should meet Cedar – he’s looking forward to having his own family again.
