Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Henry – Your Future Best Friend & Snuggle Buddy! 🐾
Henry is a handsome, outgoing one-year-old who was found as a stray and is now ready to find his forever home. He’s a playful, affectionate boy who loves both playtime and cuddle time—the best of both worlds!
Henry starts his mornings and evenings with bursts of energy, making him a great companion for interactive play with wand toys and enrichment activities. But once he’s had his fun, he settles down beautifully for naps and loves to be a lap cat. His foster describes him as "a weighted blanket" when he curls up for a snooze on your legs. He truly adores being around his people and seeks attention in the most endearing ways.
Because Henry gets excited when meeting new people, he may seem extra energetic at first and might not enjoy being petted by new people at first. Once he knows and trusts you, his affectionate side really shines. Like many playful cats, he can become overstimulated at times, but with understanding and clear body language cues, it's easy to manage. He thrives in a home where his playful moments and cuddle moments are respected, making him the perfect companion for someone looking for both fun and affection.
Henry would do best as the only pet in a home with adults or cat-savvy older kids who understand cat behavior. If you're looking for a loving, playful, and deeply devoted companion, Henry is ready to be your best friend! 💙
As we are closed to the public, adoptions are by appointment only. If you have an interest in meeting Henry, please fill out our online adoption application (https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MWHS/Cat). We will review all applications and make appointments for those applicants we feel would provide a good and loving home for Henry.
