My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, My name is Pixy. I was one of 8 kittens abandoned on a property when the owner went to hospital and unable to come home. The family came across a lot cats/kittens needing rescue. SFAAR was able to help with 10 cats/kttens. We are a little reserved at first but warm up quickly with a little TLC. We are more concerned with playing with all the things and chasing/cuddling with each other. We would do best with a confident cat friend to help up grow up confident and outgoing. We hope to be adopted with a sibling or have another fur friend in the home. I hope you choose to adopt one of us to show us how us what a forever home can be and how sweet it is.

More about this rescue

St. Francis Animal Rescue (SFAAR) is a volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned, neglected, stray and surrendered dogs and cats. Until they are adopted, the pets in our program live in loving foster homes as part of the family while we learn about their personalities, behaviors and temperaments. Foster families work with their animals to teach them good manners, care for any medical problems, and address any behavior issues. This information helps our adoption counselors match the perfect pet for you and your family.
