My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** Norman is currently in the shelter, and he is available for foster or adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **

Norman is a sweet and loving dog who`s been working hard to adjust to his shelter routine, and now he`s ready to find his forever home! While Norman struggles a bit with being left alone, he’s shown steady progress and is learning to feel more comfortable and confident in new environments. He’s hoping that in a loving home, with patient owners, he can continue to thrive and overcome his separation anxiety.

Norman is a social and affectionate pup who LOVES to snuggle! He’s always ready for some cuddle time after a good play session with his favorite stuffy toys. He’s also done well with other dogs, so he could be a great addition to a home with furry siblings. His playful and gentle nature makes him a joy to be around, and he’ll fill your days with love and happiness.

If you’re looking for a companion who will shower you with affection and is eager to keep learning and growing, Norman could be the perfect fit. He just needs someone patient to help him adjust to the next chapter of his life, and he’ll return the favor with loyalty and love beyond measure. Come meet Norman, and let him show you what a wonderful friend he can be!

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
