Domino Low is a special boy who has been through a lot in his short life. He was found wandering outside at a Brooklyn housing complex, and was originally trapped to be TNR'ed (trapped-neutered-returned). However, we saw a glimmer of love and affection in him, and we wanted to let him try to see if he wanted to live indoors.
Turns out, he does! This boy clearly was an indoor cat who was abused by humans and has had to learn to trust again. He is extremely sweet and enjoys pets, but can be startled by loud noises and sudden touches. He's never aggressive, just clearly scared. He sometimes flinches when touched which is likely a leftover behavior when touches meant some not so great things for him. With slow and gentle movements, he leans into pets and clearly really enjoys them. Domino is also very playful, and adores other cats (who also help him build his confidence). His favorite things include cuddling with his feline friends, napping in the sunlight, and doing some playing with his favorite toys.
If you are willing to be patient and let this boy come out of his shell, he is sure to be a great friend to you and your resident cat.
This cat needs to be adopted with a friend -- applications for them as a single cat will not be answered.
