This adorable 2-year-old Poodle Shepherd Mix (she came from a hoarding situation so we are fairly confident of her parentage) is looking for her forever home! We wanted to give you all a sneak peek into her sweet personality. She is very shy and came from a hoarding situation. She has Hip dysplasia and will likely need arthritis medication. She is absolutely gorgeous!
Likes: Celeste adores being outside, soaking up the sun, and engaging in epic tug-of-war battles! She’s also a huge fan of playtime with other dogs, pigs, and goats!
Dislikes: Loud noises and sudden movements can be a bit overwhelming for her, so a calm environment is best.
Good with: She’s great with dogs and other farm animals, but we’re still figuring out how she feels about cats. With kids, she’s good but tends to be a bit cautious. She’s also slowly warming up to strangers!
Training: Celeste is working on her leash training—she’s happy to follow you but doesn’t love being pulled along. In her crate, she’s a superstar and sees it as her safe space. Plus, she’s fully potty trained!
Car rides: Super quiet and calm during car rides—such a good girl!
Personality: While she’s still a bit cautious, her tail is always wagging when you talk to her. She’s figuring out that family life is fun and safe, and she can’t wait to be a part of one!
Quirks: Celeste loves to collect treasures! She’ll gather toys, shoes, and clothes into a pile on the outside stairs—so adorable and respectful!
Eating habits: A bit picky with her food, she prefers it topped with broth, and seems to have a fondness for people food!
