Meet Buddy (A212290)! Buddy is just two years young and looking for a loving home at the shelter.
Buddy is just about the purrfect cat! He is a loveable laid-back orange boy who makes new friends easily and just wants to be close to you, preferably being petted, and is in an almost perpetual state of purr!
Buddy came to us as a stray, so we have no history on him. Our vet aged him at about two years old. Buddy is a manx with almost no tail. When he first came in we weren't sure if he had what is called 'manx tail syndrome' where cats can have issues with bladder and bowel control. We have since learned that Buddy has complete bladder and bowel control and uses the litter box with no issues whatsoever. However, he does need some extra help keeping his butt clean as he can get a small amount of poop residue stuck to it. That is his one and only issue. Other than that, he is an AMAZING cat and steals the hearts of everyone he meets!
Buddy doesn't act stressed at the shelter one bit and makes friends with everyone he meets. He quickly became a staff and volunteer favorite and has quite the fan club with enthusiastic comments about how much everyone loves him scribbled all over our volunteer white board! :-) Buddy is easy to handle and has no issues being picked up and carried around. He enjoys hanging out, but likes to be near you. He is generous with his love and affection and loves to purr. In fact, when you are hanging out with him he is purring most of the time, even when you are not petting him! Buddy seems very easy going with other cats at the shelter.
We are looking for a special someone to give Buddy the best home and love and care for him. In return, he will love you to the moon and back and you will have a best friend for life!
