Founded in 1907, the Winchester SPCA supports the residents of Winchester, Frederick, and Clarke County and the area’s homeless and owned pets in a variety of ways. We offer assistance with low cost spay/neuter and vaccinations of owned pets as well as medical treatment, rehabilitation, and re-homing services for abandoned, lost, and abused animals working in cooperation with the City of Winchester Animal Control.
The Winchester SPCA provides humane education outreach to adults and children throughout its service area and offers hands-on opportunities for volunteers interested in learning more about advocating for animals and humane animal care.
