Hi, I'm Aikley, a female short hair tortoiseshell kitty. I'd make a great friend!
Here are a few interesting facts about me:
I love getting pets! I'm happy to be near you and follow you around, and I'll happily snuggle on the couch with you.
I can be a bit shy, but I'm too curious to stay hidden for long. I want to know what's going on and will say hello once it's not noisy. I find everything interesting, especially my human.
I have no problem eating all of my food and using the litterbox. No accidents for me!
I love playing with all kinds of toys, especially dangly toys and little mice. I can entertain myself, but it's more fun with you.
Exploring is fun, but I'm not interested in chewing on or ruining your things. I will jump up to get to you or explore, and might lay on your keyboard, but I won't cause trouble.
Have you seen my cool coat? I'm a beautiful tortoiseshell with black whiskers.
I'd be fine in any size home as long as I get to hang out with you. It's cool if you have other cats, too. I'll give them space and wait my turn for pets.
I am fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for my age.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
