Gloria is a beautiful 2-year old female American Staffordshire Terrier mix who was brought to the HSOV on November 3, 2024 by a Washington County Ohio Deputy Sheriff. Gloria was picked up on Whealdon Road in the Cutler Ohio area. She was wearing a collar but there was neither an id tag nor a dog license tag on her collar ... And she was not microchipped.
Gloria has a pale brown/gray brindle short smooth coat with a patch of white on her chest, a long tail, and an adorable chubby face with pale brown eyes, a narrow white stripe on her forehead, a splash of white on her muzzle, a blue/charcoal gray nose, and large floppy ears.
Thanks to HSOV Volunteer Emma Dahlgren for taking this sweet girl out for preliminary photos. Gloria was quite friendly but understandably very nervous/frightened being in an unfamiliar place.
These photos were taken late in the afternoon on November 3rd (after Daylight Savings Time went into effect) and the daylight was already disappearing, so we realize the pictures are somewhat marginal. But hopefully someone will recognize her and contact HSOV with any information about her.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Gloria will be held for the mandatory three-day stray hold so that her family will have an opportunity to reclaim her with proof of ownership.
