Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
We pulled CK from a Texas shelter where he was on the kill list. Yay! Freedom at last for little CK. But that freedom was short-lived as once we took him to the vet we found out he was heartworm positive. Tough break for the little guy as heartworm treatment requires that he take it easy during the treatment period. The good news is that he has completed all his treatment and is now ready to wiggle-butt his way into his forever home!!!
CK gets along well with cats (as you can see from one of his pictures). However, in terms of other dogs, he would really prefer to be the only pup in the household. Don't get us wrong, he does get along with other dogs, but he really attaches to his human and prefers to have all the attention for himself. He can also be a little bit food aggressive around other pups so we’d really like to find him a home where he can be the only child and revel in all it’s glory.
CK is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 17 pounds. CK is estimated to be about a year old and weighs 17 pounds. As you can see in the pictures, he does have a small scar on the side of his body from a previous injury. He is currently being fostered in Texas but once adopted can arrive to NJ on our next transport.
