Hey everyone! Another cutie this week! 9 mo old Peanut who sadly was dumped at a kill shelter after owner was given him as a gift from a friend :( ! Meet lil' Peanut one of our rescue favs! He is just a hilarious LONG funny doll who can not wait to give u kisses and snuggles. He was given to Rock n' Rescue after her owner dumped him after a friend "gifted" the pup for no reason - luckily our southern partner stepped in to help and let us know he was safe and happy and ADORABLE - he then entered our rescue program and were super spoiled because they simply deserved to be over loved after his sad story! He was given the best of the best care and now he is ready to be a big boy all on his own. Peanut is at 30 lbs but super short making him pretty funny looking and perfect size for many new families!! He is simply kisses love and cuddles! SOOOO SWEET ACTIVE and FUNNY and will be perfect for those looking for this breed mix as he is prob going to stay this size and be a small medium sized dog for life plus is super trainable at this young age! His owner did not fully vaccinate so he cannot yet go outside fully on public dirt as he is still needs to have all the necessary vaccine rounds vs other puppies who are older and so he is still susceptible to parvo and distemper. He is great with children, dogs and cats too. Can't be a better fit for most families! He seems to be 100% house and crate trained but of course can regress in a new home. Def needs obedience training for him to be the best of the best as his is super active as u can see in the video.

Peanut is truly special and are coming a long way for love. Again he will likely not grow much more and so will stay low to the ground and about 30-35lb small medium sized dog - not too small and not too big. WE DO NOT DNA TEST for breeds so you adopt and love what you get no matter what tests tell you or do not apply... Peanut at his size seems to be pretty much a mix of prob Corgi (for length and activity) with some kind of terrier mixed in as his fur is wiry - paws not too big and he's about right sized for his age - a true mutt but that makes him all the better - He has had vaccines but adopters will have to complete final rounds and he has been microchipped and is neutered. Minimum donation required. Out of state adopters MUST pick up in Bedford Hills NY - no exceptions.
