Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mister Green Bean! He is the most distinguished and well-mannered guy around, and LOVES people to cuddle with! Green Bean enjoys all people, other animals, and couches especially! He makes the GOOFIEST, yet so adorable of faces, whenever he's most content, like when his ear gets stuck up! If you're looking for a pup to cuddle with on the couch, join you to trips to PetSmart, or have spontaneous walks through the park, he is perfect! Or even more so, a medium-sized guy to take everywhere with you! This guy is house-trained, well-kennel trained, knows all basic commands, and best of all; LOVES giving kisses! Green Bean is the type of dog that is eager to be by anyone's side, but if you give him a bone; he's absolutely content. A perfect family pup! This sweet honey clocks in on the scale at about 40 pounds, and no taller than knee-high at about 2 years old! Honestly the best size, if you're asking me! Picture yourself taking a nice afternoon-nap on the sofa with this handsome guy; I can confirm, se will be all for it! We can't get enough of Green Bean and his happy-go-lucky attitude, ADORABLE frown-face, can't forget about the butt-wiggles either!? Wherever you are, if you've got love to give, Green Bean is more than happy to join you!

More about this shelter
We are a non-profit organization out of Monticello, IA specializing in the care for dogs and cats that need us. Our care does not stay local, as we take transports from all over the United States, and adopt all over as well!
Our mission's primary focus is to help reduce the homeless pet population by finding homes for spayed/neutered pets, and helping educate WHY this process is so important, and the proper way to care for pets!
