My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌟 Meet Buddy – Our Gentle Giant in Need of a Home 🌟

Buddy is a sweet, laid-back, 7-year-old, 70-pound bear coat Chinese Shar Pei who’s been part of our family since he was a puppy. Sadly, his dad recently passed away, and this "big ham" is now in need of a loving home.

Buddy’s favorite activities include sleeping in, loafing around the house, and being close to the people he trusts. He’s quiet, protective, and housebroken, but he’s also heartbroken right now and needs someone to spoil him like his dad and uncle used to.

He does have minor health needs:
💊 Skin allergies are managed with Apoquel medication.
👂 Ear care is important due to his breed.

Buddy has never lived with other animals, but he’s been curious (and a bit indifferent) when he’s seen dogs and cats, so he may adjust with proper introductions.

If you’re looking for a loyal, low-maintenance companion who loves to loaf and be adored, Buddy might be the perfect fit for your family! 🐾
