Meet Tucker, a lively pup with a knack for turning everyday situations into comedy sketches. Once, Tucker decided to take himself for a walk, but he couldn't quite figure out how to open the door. He ended up dragging his entire dog bed through the doggy door, leaving a trail of stuffing behind him. His antics landed him in the shelter, but don't worry, he's not a criminal, just a bit of a goofball.

Tucker has a bit of food aggression, but with a little training, he'll be the perfect companion. This playful, cuddly fellow is ready to fill your home with laughter and love.

Tucker is neutered, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworm.

We welcome interested adopters to visit with various adoptable pets 10am - 4pm Tuesday through Saturday at 3881 S Tripp Rd, Osseo, MI. No appointment is necessary.

Please allow at least an hour for the adoption process.

There are exceptions, but typically adoptions are the same day.

We know our pet photos are adorable, but it's best to select your companion based on their personality and compatibility with your family and lifestyle. It is important to that you bring any children with you to meet potential pets. We also recommend that all family members be present for an adoption. Spending quality time with any potential pet is key. This will help ensure that your potential pet is the best possible fit for everyone in the family. We welcome all adopters, from any county or state.

We prefer if you complete an application prior to meeting the animals so we can help you make a great match.

This is accomplished through education, quality and compassionate care of the animals received at the shelter, and community outreach. GHHS obtains funding through donations, fees for services, and fundraisers.
