My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chihiro, a sweet, loving little soul who's nothing but pure joy wrapped in fur. This beautiful black girl is always ready to shower you with affection, whether it's snuggling up beside you or wagging her tail non-stop to show just how happy she is. Chihiro has a heart full of love, and she's the kind of dog who will make you smile every day with her gentle, playful spirit. Her energy is contagious, and she has a way of making everything feel brighter just by being around. If you're looking for a companion who will give you endless love, tail wags, and cuddles, Chihiro is the perfect match!

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We’re so excited that you’re considering adopting from Nashville Humane Association. We’re located at 213 Oceola Ave in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike, and are open from 10AM until 5PM TUE through SUN (closed Mondays). We’re also closed every TUE-THUR from 12-1PM for “Quiet Hour.” As a quick heads up, our adoption process takes about an hour, and all adoptions must be finalized on-site at the shelter, so if you’re planning to visit and adopt, be sure to make accommodations for time.
