Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This little lady is Edith. Edith is a 10-ish Chihuahua, but don't let the age fool you. She is full of spunk and attitude. She weighs roughly 7 lbs., but she doesn't realize how little she is. Edith is not afraid of anything or anyone. She will tell you exactly how she feels or what she wants (she is very vocal).
Edith will be the first to greet you and insist you pick her up and give her loves. She is such a cuddle bug. If you are winding down for the day, she will crawl into your arms and gaze into your eyes, letting you know she's happy and comfortable. When it's time for bed, Edith will climb under the covers and won't move until it's time to wake up.
Edith loves walks, loves her toys and treats. Edith did have a dental and had several teeth extracted, so soft food is best for her. She has a heart murmur and needs to take a pill every day and needs to be on a special cardiac food. The good news is you do not have to hide her heart medicine in cheese or a pill pocket because she thinks you are giving her a treat and will take it right from your hand.
Edith is getting the hang of potty training and she is potty pad trained as well. She really needs a home with bigger dogs or a home without other pets. She hasn’t been cat tested, but she is little jealous of smaller dogs and tries to put them in their place. Edith would be a great companion for a single person or couple who works from home or is retired. You couldn’t possibly ask for a more loyal and affectionate little buddy.
Edith has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
