Purrincess Peach spent some time in a loving foster home. Her foster family had this to say about her:
"Purrincess Peach is anything BUT a damsel-in-distress. She is a hilariously outgoing and happy-go-lucky whirlwind of a kitten! The first time she met our (very kitten-friendly) dog, she pretty much threw herself onto his head to try wrestling. They were instant best friends, and I know she'd love to have a wrestling buddy in her new home! Our cat did not want to be her friend, but she persisted and kept trying despite getting hissed at more than once. She's just an all-around great girl, with a little bit of a sassy side when she's in her playful hunter mode. I think Peach would be a great addition to most homes!"
When Purrincess Peach was very young (before she came to the shelter), her tail was injured and she lost the back half of her tail. Her tail has healed wonderfully and this does not affect her at all. She just has a shorter tail than most cats!
I am spayed or neutered, vaccinated as appropriate for my age, microchipped, and FeLV tested. My adoption fee is $99.

The Roanoke Valley SPCA offers adoptions by appointments Tuesday - Saturday between Noon and 7pm. Appointments can be made by calling 540-339-9247. Walk-in's will be offered the next available appointment. Pets are adopted on a first come basis. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold pets nor guarantee a pet will be available at the time of your appointment, but we do promise to call you if a pet is adopted prior to your appointment.

Adopters must be 18 years of age or older and provide the Roanoke Valley SPCA with photo identification showing current address. Adoption fees may be paid in cash, debit or credit card (VISA or MasterCard). All pets available for adoption have been examined by our staff veterinarian and treated for any health issues. They have been tested for canine/feline diseases, spayed or neutered, received routine vaccinations (including rabies), been microchipped, and have received a heavy dose of love and attention from all of our staff and volunteers. The main requirement for adoption is that the adopter understand and fully make a life-time commitment to the animal of their choice.
