This scruffy, curly haired golden boy is TUCKER. He is a poodle mix with something to make him a desired doodle. His coat is long and he really needs to be groomed properly. I cut the hair out of his eyes.
Poor TUCKER was running the streets trying to survive on his own and just did not have a clue. He was very happy to get in the car with the finder and be saved.
He weighs 29 pounds and I am sure he will double in weight, he has a healthy appetite, just loves his food and treats but he has no aggression toward his food with other dogs or humans. TUCKER is such a happy, jolly guy that he has no agression in any area.
I have started crate training him and he is doing very well but cannot hold it that long right now, he does have to be taken out in the middle of the night until he gets the hang of it. I use the word 'Potty' to go outside and he understands and I believe he equates that word with 'Play' because he happily bounces outside and play with the other foster dogs all of whom he gets along with. I am working on the potty training and he still needs work, he is a puppy that has been on the streets for a while on his own.
TUCKER is 5 1/2 months old and walks pretty good on the leash, he does not pull, just not sure which way to go but he will follow you. He rides in the car well without geting sick.
He would make a great playmate for another dog and another dog would have a great impact on training him as he follows the leader with activities. He loves the water, likes to drink it a lot and play in it.
If you are interested in adopting TUCKER, please submit an application on the website below. Thank you.
